IIC, I2IT Pune aims to induce an entrepreneurial mindset into the students and air an innovative streak in them. We are here to water the ‘Ideas’ in the bud and help them bloom into impactful endeavors through networking student enterprises from campus to incubators, seeding funds and angel investors to transform the newly proposed ideas into successful start-ups.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) have successfully organised the Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition (ECC) 2022 on 8th April, 2022 in OFFLINE MODE from 10 am to 5 pm. The total number of participants were 67 student entrepreneurs. They have presented 23 Business ideas in two different tracks . The ideas were related to various fields like Institute/industry scrap collection, Mining Workers Safety Issues, Crime Prediction, Smart Cooling, Automatic irrigation system, Behavioural differences during the development of chicken, AI based tool to get information about five good institutes based on AISHE and Automated Electricity billing approach for large corporations.
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Innovation Cell-Institution Innovation Council held the Talk Series (Webinar organized by MHRD’s Innovation Cell) by Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group.This activity is one of the components of Smart India Hackathon 2019 which is already on, and ideas have been invited by MHRD. Abhay Jere, Chief innovation Officer, MHRD, Govt. of India, was in conversation with Anand Mahindra.
The seminar was organized by International Institute of Information Technology, Pune with speaker Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar, Alumni of, I²IT, a successful young entrepreneur. This seminar was held to help students understand what entrepreneurship really means, and what does it take to be an entrepreneur. This seminar encouraged students to know the overall process to be followed when they plan to do a startup. The qualities like patience, communication skills that make a strong attribute to the business. Some DO’s and DON’Ts were discussed when students plan their startup. The strategy of Commit, Act, Consolidate was being suggested. And this seminar created positive thoughts in the minds of students regarding struggle and implementation of business.
I²IT Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Millionminds hosted “Accelerate: The Startup Talk” session by Abhishek Kumar Kanaujia at our college. The talk focused on aspects about the Startup and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. Students can now enhance their Startup Ideas by avoiding common mistakes made by Entrepreneurs and Founders while executing their Ideas and reaching to the highest levels of success.
The competition was organised by SIC, Pune and evaluated by Mr. Manoj Pangarkar and Mr. Pranay Upadhyay, Successful young entrepreneur and Industry person. This competition was held to encourage students from our college to make their idea happen and implement them in reality and make students familiar with the world of business and startups. Students actively participated by showing their keen interest towards ideas through brief powerpoint presentations and posters.
